Mint Lemongrass

Overall, I think this tea was surprisingly good in spite of the fact that it tastes nothing like I thought it would. The flavour of this tea seems stronger on the mint side, while the black tea flavour seems secondary while the apple, lemon, and lemon grass are a bit in the back of it all. I would say the lemon grass and fruit prevents this tea from purely being minty, rather it gives the tea a quality that takes a couple drinks to really appreciate.I also really like that each bag has it's own mylar envelope as it does a great job of keeping the tea tasting fresh for a long time. The natural teabags are a nice addition too as they don't have any plastic or metal waste to worry about. The only downside I see is with the value, as I feel the pricepoint(16.99 at the time of review) is a bit high given the amount of tea provided.

When I read about the ingredients in this tea, I thought... wow, what an interesting blend, I'll have to try it. However, the apple throws things off a little for me. It's certainly an usual mix (mint, lemongrass, black tea, peppermint, and apple) for a black tea and while the taste is quite good once you get used to it, it does make you take a double (or triple) take at first. I think it would be better still without the apple... but that's just my opinion. I love the mint and lemongrass, but could do without both the peppermint and apple as I found them a bit distracting.

The tea is a well balanced combination of black tea, mint, and a touch of citrus. The flavor is pleasantly light for being moderately caffeinated. It's enjoyable both plain and with additions.

Not my cup of tea. When I ordered, the ingredient list wasn’t posted in the product details yet. Had it been, I wouldn’t have ordered this tea. I’m quite picky about what I ingest & need full transparency. I never drink tea that have the mysterious “natural flavors�?listed. If something is in this tea that the company doesn’t want to disclose, then I don’t want it.It is nice that the black tea is certified organic, but would be even nicer if all of the other ingredients were too. I prefer my tea to be entirely organic/pesticide-free & again, had I known when I ordered, I wouldn't have gotten this in the first place.Unfortunately, I can’t brew or drink this based on the newly posted info. I can say, however, that if you're cool with natural flavors & non-organic ingredients this package of tea is presented well & by the sounds of other reviewers, likely tastes nice.
